Dave Jooste and his family are firm believers of the saying “the more you give – the more you receive.”
Based on this principal are they active in the Local Community by feeding the homeless and administering help to animals in distress.
Participating in it gives them the opportunity to know that they are improving someone’s life and making the local community better. By doing community service on a regular basis makes a visual impact on the community which is not only visible to the “givers” but also the “receivers.”
Community Service adds to personal growth as it makes participants more organized, responsible and compassionate, which are good qualities to have as well as qualities a healthy community needs to address certain issues.
According to Dave is another benefit that he meets a lot of great people while rendering a much needed service.
On The Road Again hosted a fun-filled event to celebrate their community. “people have stuck with us to do quality work and now it is our turn to say thank you,” said owner David Jooste. Residents were treated to free hotdogs and live entertainment.
They have also helped an animal in distress by rescuing a kitten in Birchleigh from the top of a car’s wheel. Follow the following link to read the story.
